Can you describe your tool's positioning
Agorapulse is a social media management tool for Social Media Managers, allowing them to manage conversations and posts across social networks from a single platform. We are the only French player in this market segment. Our tool is self-service from our website, and we target medium-sized organizations with a competitive pricing strategy.
What is your value proposition?
Agorapulse's main added value is organizing the "chaos" of social networks into a structured flow, enabling social managers to perform their daily tasks calmly and efficiently, mainly publishing messages on various networks and responding to questions and comments.
What are Agorapulse's main features?
The tool offers a single interface for:
- Posting on major social networks (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Google Plus)
- Managing a calendar of upcoming publications with a scheduling system
- Centralizing all incoming messages (private messages, comments, reviews, mentions, etc.)
- Highlighting key keywords and relevant phrases published by the community on the aforementioned networks
- Displaying key performance indicators (engagement, reach, shares, etc.)
- Generating performance reports of published content
What is your "Killer Feature"?
We have not one but two Killer Features! First, introduced in 2012, is our inbox system that allows users to identify incoming messages requiring attention at a glance. We were the first tool to offer a social media inbox, often imitated but never equaled 😉. Second, for a company targeting SMEs, we offer a tool close to enterprise solutions but at an affordable, intuitive rate, specially designed for medium-sized organizations.
Any integrations with other tools? Can you tell us about your API policy?
We currently have no API and no integrations, except with Bitly. At this stage of our development, we are beginning to explore promising integrations, especially with tools like Slack to enhance teamwork.
What is your pricing model?
We have designed our model with four packages to suit company size. Mainly, we offer the ability to connect more social accounts to Agorapulse and add additional users, as well as features facilitating collaborative work (workflow, task assignment, publication approval, etc.).
- The first package is for solo organizations, starting at €39/month
- The second for SMEs at €79/month
- Then for agencies at €159/month
- Finally, for large accounts at €239/month
Can you tell us more about your customer onboarding process? Our model is a very user-friendly self-service tool, so most of our onboardings happen without our intervention. However, we offer personalized onboarding for our "VIP" clients subscribing to plans above €199/month.
How is customer support handled for Agorapulse clients?
Our customer support/success team consists of fifteen people providing 24/7 support in four languages, including French. Our average response time is 30 minutes, and we are one of the highest-rated tools for support quality.
What are your goals for 2019?
We aim to continue our annual 50% growth by increasing investment in product development and local marketing (especially in Europe and France). Our R&D team is working on unified features (Calendar, Inbox, Reports), and other publication-related projects are also in the pipeline.
How do you see the evolution of your market?
The Social Media Management market has begun to consolidate, and this trend will continue as it becomes increasingly challenging to offer high-quality services and products without significant investments. To address this, we must continually innovate on the product side while maintaining our quality of service.
